BUSINESS UNIT AND GENERAL SERVICE

The main tasks and business field of Perum Jasa Tirta II, which include the management of water resources infrastructures and facilities, electric power and public service, are implemented by business units in order to mobilize fund form the company potency, as a social tasks from the government, which is as follows :

Business Unit of Electricity
The installed capacity of Ir. H. Djuanda Hydro Electric Power Plant in Jatiluhur in 1994-1998 is up rated from 150 MW to 187 MW. Electric Power production is 900 million KWH approximately in a year, is used for the company supply and business development and the remaining is sold to PT. PLN (State Electrical Power Company) pass through transmission line of 150 and 70 KV . PJT II do not supply its Electrical Production directly to the consumers. Beside of it there are many dropped structure in the irrigation system with the potency of micro hydro of 50 KVA to 5.000 KVA.

Bussiness Unit of Raw Water
Its main tasks are to provide and to supply raw water from its sources to PDAM (Regency Waterworks) in the regency area and PAM Jaya (Municipal Water Corporation ) to the tune of 473 million m3 for the year 2001. It also provides the raw water to industrial region and zones in the Company Working Area to the tune of 195 million m3 for the year 2001.

Bussiness Unit of Tourism
Jatiluhur is one of the tourism object in West Java with its 8.300 hectares of reservoir and beautiful scenery which is combined with hydraulic technical creation in a form of a huge Dam and HEPP ( Hydro Electric Power Plant ).

The tourism activities are implemented by using the facilities of the Post Multipurpose Project of Jatiluhur near Jatiluhur Dam for accommodation, conference, sports and water recreation.

In the year 2002, a convention hall has been built with the capacity of more than 300 people which can also be used for other purposes such as wedding party etc. In facilitating the water tourism, a cruising boat has been renewed.

Land Utilization
In order to prevent any land exploitation illegally and to optimize the use of state owned area, PJT II provides land utilization service in the form of land leasing or business cooperation.
